Accounting Specialist

Responsibilities:
  • Processes accounts payable invoices with a 3-way match process. Matches PO, invoice and the receipt of material in Epicor (software) to verify correct quantity and cost.
  • Maintains accounting records.
  • Communicates with inventory and purchasing to correct discrepancies of pricing and quantities received.
  • Communicates with Suppliers with payment status or requesting invoices.
  • Runs reports in Epicor to verify entry.
  • Maintains and updates procedures and daily workflow for position

Requirements:
  • 2+ years of accounting experience preferred.

  • Position is in an office environment and will require working on a computer most of the day. Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or grasp, reach with hands and arms. Frequently required to talk and hear. Frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Equipment Operator C Days

Responsibilities:
  • Unloads inbound shipments and moves product to storage locations using a forklift.
  • Efficiently stocks and stores materials in appropriate areas.
  • Pulls and prepares product for production and shipment.
  • Contributes to a safe working environment by being responsible for quality, safety, organization, and cleanliness in your area of operation.

Requirements:
  • 1 to 3 years of recent inventory control or warehouse experience, along with forklift operating experience.
  • Effective and efficient English communication skills required to communicate efficiently within all levels of a team environment via two-way radio, email and in person.
  • Must be able to drive and operate a forklift and pass the Sabre forklift certification. Including the vision requirements: Distant Vision: must be 20/40 or greater corrected or uncorrected in each eye. Near Vision: must be J2 or better corrected or uncorrected, 12 inches from face in each eye. Depth Perception: must be at less than 50 seconds of arc or greater than 60% Shepard Fry in each eye.
  • Must possess the ability to comply with safety rules, operating maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Candidates must also contribute to safety and quality control standards.
  • Position requires work in a plant/manufacturing environment. Required PPE includes safety glasses, steel-toe metatarsal boots and hearing protection worn at all time on the production floor in addition to other specific PPE that must be work for specific tasks.
  • Environment may include fluctuations in temperature, dust and noise.
  • Must be able to work in all types of weather conditions including heat and cold.

Equipment Operator A - Shipping

Responsibilities:
  • Ensures quality of all shipping items by verifying and identifying information and quality/condition of items as well as taking steps necessary to protect items from damage while being loaded on trucks and in shipping containers.

Seamer

Responsibilities:
  • Programs, adjusts and supervises the automatic welding of shells on the seaming machines for the full cycle of the seaming operation.
  • Make sure shells are loaded correctly
  • Sets the controls to ensure that pressure and speed are set correctly to complete the welding process
  • Supervises the flow to ensure that setting remain correct and the weld integrity is not compromised

NDT Quality Control Technician

Responsibilities:
  • Perform all inspection functions to the requirements of ASNT SNT TC-1A for a UT Level II AWS Weld Inspector.
  • Perform Visual and Ultrasonic Weld Inspections to the requirements of AWS D1.1.
  • Cross train in other areas of Quality Control Department and fill in when need arises.
  • Ensure that all documentation is accurately and neatly completed.
  • Keep pass down log accurate.

    Painter (Nights)

    Sioux City, IA

    Responsibilities:
    • oSets, operates and maintains shot blast and liquid coating equipment.
    • oMaintains complete records of all liquid paints and solvents used during each 4-hour period. Assures that painting volume is limited to appropriate levels to assure compliance with regulations and policies regarding emissions.
    • oMaintains compliance with regulations and policies regarding the safe storage, use, and disposal of hazardous materials and hazardous wastes.
    • oProperly handles, stores, and uses painting materials in compliance with applicable fire regulations and policies.
    • oPerforms daily, weekly and monthly operator preventative maintenance on designated equipment.
    • oDetermines what products are needed, locates and identifies products to be brought in for painting.
    • oSafely operates forklift, cart pusher and overhead crane to move product.
    • oOperates and maintains conveyors and elevator for recycling steel grit, and air filtration system for purifying air to be exhausted from the blasting chamber.
    • oMonitors level of blasting media in the storage hopper and adds material when needed.
    • oManually wraps finished product after paint has dried.
    • oUses digital film thickness gauge to measure film thickness to assure product has adequate paint thickness and coverage according to Sabre Industries, Inc. specifications. Log thickness readings on log sheet.
    • oUses MES station to accurately record time and labor on all product throughout the entire coating process.
    • oUses proper measures to assure long and productive life of all equipment and facilities. Includes immaculate housekeeping at all times.
    • oMaintains high level of alertness regarding safety and housekeeping. When movement of products exposes unkept areas, takes immediate action to clean up dunage and debris.
    • oPerforms other duties as assigned.

    Requirements:
    • oPrevious experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
    • oMust have knowledge of basic shop mathematics, addition, subtraction, fractions and decimals.
    • oMust be able to read, write and communication effectively in English.
    • oMust be able to, or learn how, to read a tape measure.
    • oMust be able to stand 100% of scheduled shift. Lifting, pushing, prying, and dragging heavy materials up to 50 pounds.

    CNC Programmer I

    Sioux City, IA

    Responsibilities:
    • Uses Auto-Cad to interpret a print of a part to be burned, drilled, and/or punched for the purpose of supplying the CNC machines with needed information to produce the part.
    • Communicates with multiple internal departments to keep abreast of changes in part dimensions, production scheduling of parts and manufacturing needs to complete order.
    • Prepares material requirements for Purchasing Department and processes orders for manufacturing.
    • Utilizes excess inventory in the most efficient way to substitute and/or modify existing assemblies or parts to fill in existing orders.

    Requirements:
    • 1-5 years of previous machine operation, drafting and CNC programming experience at the shop floor level, steel manufacturing environment is preferred.
    • Ability to do basic math: addition, subtraction, multiplication, trigonometry, division and algebra, with both fractions and decimals.
    • Must possess basic knowledge of Microsoft Office products such as Excel and Word
    • Must possess excellent written and verbal English communication skills

    Production Planning Coordinator

    Hicksville, OH

    Responsibilities:
    • Plan and monitor material movement in production cycles to ensure continuous operations.
    • Assist in production activity control to meet business and financial objectives.
    • Work with Managers to plan and manage production tasks to improve runtime.

                          Moves around round tube or formed shaft as necessary to get into proper position to accurately measure and assemble components described above including standing on elevated platform when necessitated by the size of the shafts.
                          Uses motorized grinders, motorized buffers, stone grinders, and drills to help assemble pole assembly according to prescribed specifications, codes and drawing. Wears protective face shield and safety glasses to protect eyes and face.
                          Adjusts welding machine to achieve desired results within parameters of established welding procedures. Changes tips, ceramic cups, and electrodes in plasma torch as needed to achieve desired cutting results.
                          Finish weld various products of the unit to keep the product moving through the large pole department in a timely manner. Reads and interprets weld symbols.
                          Uses oxy-fuel torch to preheat parts prior to welding. Read codes and specifications to determine proper temperature and uses instruments provided to measure temperature.
                          Uses chipping hammer, wire brush, motorized grinder, and motorized wire brush at various times to clean welded areas.
                          Uses pneumatic drills and magnetic drills to drill and ream various sizes holes in poles as required by the drawing.

                          Performs visual inspecting and identifies material discrepancies to assure welds have been completed satisfactorily in compliance with applicable drawings and specifications. Uses a weld gauge to measure weld size.
                          When called for by the drawings and specifications, must produce full-penetration welds as defined by American Welding Society code. Uses air-arc gouger to remove weld defects, and rewelds to meet specifications.

                        • Uses oxy-fuel torch to pre-heat parts to be welded in accordance with published welding codes and specifications
                        • Uses GMAC or FCAW welding process to weld small components or assemblies in 1G and 2F positions
                        • Wears protective equipment, including safety glasses, insulated welding gloves, leather sleeves and/or cape and welding hood
                        • Works in confined areas at various locations on the small pole assembly line as necessary to weld components described above
                        • Uses chipping hammer, wire brush, motorized grinders, and motorized wire brush at various times to clean welded areas.
                        • Uses pneumatic drills and magnetic drills to drill carious size holes on pole assembly as required by drawings and specifications
                        • Visually inspects his/her work to identify material discrepancies and to ensure that welds have been completed satisfactorily in compliance with applicable drawings and specifications.
                        • Uses overhead cranes to transport and move material. Overhead crane training will be required.
                        • Uses a weld gauge to measure weld size, standard and metric
                        • Reads and interprets work orders and daily production schedules.
                        • Corrects labor reporting in MES system to ensure operations are complete.
                        • Assists fitter in assembling pole assembly when needed. Uses measuring tape, level, square and angle finder to measure distances and angles
                        • Uses oxy-fuel cutting torch and plasma-arc torch for cutting steel.
                        • Operates assembly line cart system to move tubular shafts into position for cutting on band saw and for fitting. Operates band saw for cutting tubular shafts according to specifications.
                        • Maintains a clean work area.

                        Requirements:

                        Electrical Engineer

                        Bossier City, LA

                        Responsibilities:
                        • Prepare technical drawings, specifications of electrical systems to ensure that installation and operations conform to standards and customer requirements.
                        • Operate computer-assisted engineering or design software or equipment to perform engineering tasks.
                        • Confer with engineers, customers, or others to discuss existing or potential engineering projects or products.
                        • Direct or coordinate manufacturing, construction, installation, maintenance, support, documentation, or testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, or customer requirements.
                        • Design, implement, maintain, or improve electrical instruments, equipment, facilities, components, products, or systems.
                        • Prepare specifications for purchases of materials or equipment.
                        • Perform detailed calculations to compute and establish manufacturing, construction, or installation standards or specifications.
                        • Oversee project production efforts to assure projects are completed on time and within budget.
                        • Plan or implement research methodology or procedures to apply principles of electrical theory to engineering projects.
                        • Responsible for providing design construction and integration of pre-fabricated buildings, cabinets and skids for the telecommunications, solar and utility power industries.
                        • Responsible for the design of large scale solar power conversion stations and utility interactive battery energy storage systems from initial design to final installation.

                        Requirements:
                        • 3-5 years of practical Engineering experience.
                        • Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology. This includes applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the design and production of various goods and services
                        • Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principals involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
                        • Knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics, and their applications.
                        • Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
                        • Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote effective local, state, or national security operations for the protection of people, data, property, and institutions.
                        • Background and or highly interested in solar grid tie systems, battery storage systems, telecommunications, power substations and/or renewable energy.
                        • Must work well in a group, or team environment.
                        Educational Requirements:
                        • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, or related field of study
                        • Lean Certification a plus
                        • Working toward Professional Engineer certification

                        3D CAD Technician

                        Bossier City, LA

                        Responsibilities:
                        • Operate computer-aided drafting (CAD) equipment or conventional drafting station to produce designs, working drawings, charts, forms and records.
                        • Coordinate structural, electrical and mechanical designs and determine a method of presentation to graphically represent building plans.
                        • Lay out and plan interior room arrangements for buildings using computer-assisted drafting (CAD) equipment and software.
                        • Determine procedures and instructions to be followed, according to design specifications and quantity of required materials.
                        • Check dimensions of materials to be used.
                        • Other duties as needed.

                        Requirements:
                        • Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in 3D design, CAD experience, drafting, or a related field.
                        • Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, drawings, and models.
                        • Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the construction or repair of buildings.
                        • Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology. This includes applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the design and production of various goods and services.

                        • Knowledge of electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software, including applications such as Autocad 2015 edition or later, and Inventor 2015 edition or later.
